“Despite the best intentions for Sunday, 13^th May, this was not to be. Early morning started calm and fair with a high cloud base but quickly deteriorated with the wind rising and light rain falling becoming heavier as the day progressed. Reluctantly the event was called off but only after a few early birds had a couple of flights, demonstrating that electric flight cannot be considered marginal in any way.”
