Sorry guys but due to lack of entries the competition is cancelled.
 

Location: Lawford, nr. Manningtree - see map right.

Start time - 11am
(please arrive before 10:30 to set up so we can start on time)

Entry fee £5

Allowed models:

Winch or towed - Open/F3J, 100S, RES, Classic, Vintage and tail-less
Electric* – Open and 2metre either to the 200W/Kg rules (22sec. motor run) or fitted with a height limiter (200m/30sec. motor run).
Hand Launch – max. wing span 1.5m
Mini-bungee - max. wing span 1.5m

* Virtually all electric gliders can fly in this league, from foamies like the Easy Glider/Junior S/Radian/Cularis etc., home built balsa jobbies up to the latest moulded beauties. It doesn't matter what you fly, just come and have some fun.

FunFly and Barbecue

 

Our last FunFly & BBQ evening for 2010. Come along with a model or three and enjoy some flying, chat and a bite to eat.

As before, the barbecue will be fired up around about 6pm serving burgers and hotdogs, canned drinks will also be available.

Guests are very welcome, and anyone wanting to join the club is also welcome to come along and meet us.

This is part of the 2010 Vintage Glider Rally (fullsize). There will be various modelling displays including the jets on Wednesday evening. See here for more details - http://vgc2010.norfolkglidingclub.com/ContentPage.aspx?pageid=31

Scale model gliders being aerotowed should be on show on the first Saturday evening (the 31st). This is not showing in the events list but is mentioned here - www.rcmf.co.uk/4um/index.php/topic,72619.msg809727.html#msg809727 - I'm hoping to pop over and and give both events a look. Tony.
