Wot's Wot

We were having our usual Saturday flying at Gt oakley when a group of 4 people walked up to look at the models.

Nothing unusual in that, people often stop when passing for a chat or to have a look.

These guys had just landed in a couple of full size planes, on a trip from Shoreham.

On of them was interested in our 'Wot' models. We had a Wot trainer along with an Acrowot and Robbies twin engined Wot 4.

Turns out it was Chris Foss! the renowned designer of the 'Wot' range of models. we all had a good chat with him on the field before we walked over to look at the full size plane he was in. It was a sports 2 seater along the lines of the Harmon Rocket model.

Great day, great weather and a real unexpected guest appearance.
